Janet Gold is the recipient of the South Florida Cultural Consortium       Fellowship for Visual and Media Artists…for the second time.

In 1999 Gold received the South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship for her abstract oil pastels, and has just recently received the award (2008) with a submission of small scale vintage book cover collages.
Under the auspices of the South Florida Department of Cultural Affairs the $15,000 fellowship is the largest and most prestigious art award in the state of Florida.
The award recipients will have an upcoming exhibition at the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art in July 2008.
